Baozun Asia is seeking a Buyer/ (Associate) Merchandise Planner (Fashion Brand) who is technology-savvy and understands the eCommerce landscape and dynamics well. You will be responsible for leading the merchandising strategy, driving product assortment decisions, achieving sell-through targets, and optimising inventory management to achieve our business goals. You will constantly be in touch with the trends of the fashion market and customer behaviors, to curate and adjust the product range. You are accountable for omnichannel product strategies and driving omnichannel retail development.

Merchandising Strategy: Develop and execute a commercial and profitable merchandising strategy tailored to the Southeast Asia markets, including pre-season and in-season planning; aligning with the overall company objectives and brand vision.
Product Assortment: Curate a compelling and diverse product assortment that caters to the specific preferences and trends of Southeast Asia customers while ensuring brand consistency.
- Pricing and Promotions: Collaborate with the commercial and marketing team and dive and analysis to set competitive pricing strategies and promotional activities that resonate with the target audience.
- Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimise stockouts, overstock situations, and excess inventory, maximizing sales and profitability.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of regional market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitors to identify opportunities and gaps in the market. Utilise data-driven insights to make informed merchandising decisions.
- Supplier and Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products while negotiating favorable terms to optimise costs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, design, and operations, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of merchandising efforts.
- Budget Management: Responsible for the budget allocation and financial performance of the merchandise category, ensuring that objectives are met within allocated resources.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet all regulatory requirements and adhere to quality standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Proven experience in merchandising management within the apparel and footwear industry, with at least  years.
Omnichannel retail knowledge is required.
Deep understanding of Southeast Asia consumer markets, trends, and cultural nuances.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve ambitious targets.
Results-oriented with a strategic mindset and a track record of driving growth and profitability.
Fluent in English and Mandarin.
