About the role:
As a Senior Social Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for devising and overseeing the implementation of creative social media strategies that raise brand awareness and increase conversions. You will support our ecommerce clients in social media management, creating new campaigns and organic content for various social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. You will work closely with external brand partners, in-house designers, and the marketing director to ensure successful execution of social media campaigns.
- Develop and execute social media strategies for ecommerce clients, including campaign planning, content creation, and post scheduling.
- Conceptualize and create original, engaging content (both visuals and copy) for social media platforms.
- Work closely with external brand partners to ensure that their social media goals are met and that campaigns align with their brand values and guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with trends in social media and ecommerce, including new platform features and emerging social media channels.
- Foster and maintain relationships with local influencers to drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with in-house designers to create visually appealing and on-brand content.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to come up with innovative social media campaign ideas.
- Work with the marketing director to ensure that all social media campaigns are aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
- Depending on individual strengths, explore opportunities to learn and contribute to other aspects of digital marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in the ecommerce, fashion or beauty industries.
- Strong copywriting skills and experience in creating engaging content for social media platforms.
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools and the ability to analyze data to inform strategy.
- Familiarity with local influencers and their role in social media marketing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with external partners.
- Proactive, creative, bold, and curious mindset.
- Experience with other aspects of digital marketing is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
